To add a link to your blog is very simple. All u have to do us go up to the task bar at the top
Go to were it says link click on it, add the title and the copy the link u want it to take you to. Then simply place it in the spot were it says link. Then your done. You can also check off one of the boxes at the bottom that says open in new window. That will make it so it wont get rid of your blog page.
To add images to your block background is a little tricky but after you do it a couple times it gets easier. To start off go to your blog page and look in the top right corner it will say Design.
Your gonna want to go to layout. Once in there u can find header, that will change the top part of your blog, the right sidebar will change the sidebar on your blog, very simple.
Adding images to the background of your blog post is very confusing on the other hand. To do this you must have the coding to add the photo and whatever you wanna add.

Move the Top down a couple spots so u can insert the codeing. Then Insert this code

Then at the very bottom add this </div>
